What kind of Brunton Binoculars brand should I purchase?
Currently I am an undergraduate geology student in a course that has suggested the purchase of my own Brunton compass since

I am considering a career in geology. I want to get a Brunton binoculars brand but there are many makes and models on and very few/no reviews on the products. Does anyone have a suggestion on what model I should buy? How much should I spend? $250? $350? more?

I used the Silva Ranger in field camp - it's adequate, but not for professional work.
I have two Bruntons binoculars- one with azimuth (0-360) and one with 90 degree quadrants. I much prefer the azimuth reading.
The Pocket Transit is what you want. The International version can be used in both hemispheres, while the conventional version can only be used in the northern hemisphere. If you think you will be using it south of the equator, drugs online spend the extra bucks.
You should be able to get a nice brunton binoculars with 0-360 scale for around $250 or so.
