Why do people say that you should not buy inexpensive zoom binoculars for astronomy?

I have a pair of 50$ bushnell 15x zoom binoculars and I can clearly see nebula the moon and even the andromeda galaxy. I would like to know if I am the only one that thinks inexpensive zoom binoculars are good.

Cheap zoom binoculars are OK, but a single magnification binocular will be significantly better for the same money. Unless you've actually done a side-by-side comparison of the two, you really don't know what you're talking about.
